I'm raising the funds to release my new album "Winter Hill Blues" in the spring of 2022. This record has been nearly eight years in the making, with material that was written and refined on stages across Europe, before I began traveling to Mississippi to learn more about the Bentonia style of blues with Jimmy "Duck" Holmes at the Blue Front Cafe. The music was recorded in Memphis by acclaimed producer Bruce Watson (Fat Possum/Big Legal Mess/Bible & Tire Records) with a plan to release vinyl through CosiRecords in Europe and support with tour dates, but the pandemic changed things.
As one door closes, another opens. I'm now planning to self-release "Winter Hill Blues," with promotional support from my trusted friends at Nick Loss-Eaton Media. Nick has already helped me so much to develop as a musician and writer, so I'm very glad to take this next step together.
"Winter Hill Blues" is completely recorded and ready for the next phase of manufacturing and promotion. I am hoping to raise $4,000 to make this happen. In exchange for your support, I'm offering a list of exclusive, personalized, one of a kind rewards below, from house concerts to private guitar lessons, to recordings made just for you and more.
I will post regular updates here as we work together to get the album out there. Your kindness and the community that comes with it will help me bring this music out into the world. Thank you!
